El diez de enero de 2010 fue el día en que -de nuevo, y por fin- volvería a nevar de verdad en Madrid
Durante la tarde-noche una copiosa y mágica nevada nos devolvió a la infancia.
El casco viejo de la ciudad adquirió un aspecto irreal, onírico, y tan bello, que paulatinamente se fue poblando de niños de hasta 70 años, que a veces se unían a las peleas de bolas de nieve, o bien paseaban en respetuoso silencio por las blancas galerías del recuerdo emocionado, o bien disparaban su cámara de forma compulsiva intentando abarcar lo inabarcable.
La nieve, capaz de transformar la mugre y el exceso humano como jamás lograría la mejor performance del más atrevido artista contemporáneo.
Por tan siquiera tan sólo un momento, la nieve lo cubre TODO;.
Por eso me gusta tanto.

On January 10, 2010 was the day on which a real snow fall visited Madrid again.During the evening a heavy and magic snow-fall made us return back in time to childhood memories.
The old part of the city acquired an unreal, dreamlike, and so beautiful aspect that was gradually being populated for up to 70yo ´children´ who joined the snowball fights, or walked around in respectful silence by the white galleries of their excited memories, or either shooting his cameras on a compulsive fashion, trying to encompass and comprehend the the uncomprehensible.
The snow, which is able to transform human excess and dirt as it never achieved the best performance of the contemporary artist bolder.
For just a moment, if only a moment, the snow covers EVERYTHING; which is why I like so much...

El casco viejo de la ciudad adquirió un aspecto irreal, onírico, y tan bello, que paulatinamente se fue poblando de niños de hasta 70 años, que a veces se unían a las peleas de bolas de nieve, o bien paseaban en respetuoso silencio por las blancas galerías del recuerdo emocionado, o bien disparaban su cámara de forma compulsiva intentando abarcar lo inabarcable.
La nieve, capaz de transformar la mugre y el exceso humano como jamás lograría la mejor performance del más atrevido artista contemporáneo.
